Dr. Strohm began his chiropractic journey while teaching anatomy at University of Alabama Birmingham. After, the Navy and a career in IT, Dr. Strohm decided to go into the health field. Teaching made him aware of the power that is inside the body. The nervous system is the most important system in our body, which controls all other systems, and it must be protected. The spine is what protects it. The good and the bad about the spine is that it moves. Good, because this is how we walk and stand upright. Bad, because it can move out of alignment and cause our body not to function the way it is suppose to and then cause dysfunction and pain. As chiropractors, we focus on this mis-alignment and use the adjustments to put you back in alignment so that the body can then function as it was intended to do. That is our job and then your body does the rest.
